I WILL NOT COMPLY.

“One believes things because one has been conditioned to believe them.”

These were the heavy words spoken by Mustapha Mond, the World Controller in Aldous Huxley's banned masterpiece, "Brave New World," a fictional book written in 1932 that takes place in an eerie, dystopian world where children are manufactured, minds are conditioned, and all things, from food to happiness, are synthetic. His work, originally despised by critics for its distasteful descriptions and apparent irrelevancy, has ironically become a terrifying and timely warning to current generations. Many have observed that the once fabricated and fictional elements of its world have become, in recent years, not so fictional. The words on the pages of his book seem to have slowly leaked into our own reality, and unfortunately, the hole is only widening.

"So," you may ask, "what in the world does this have to do with men's pomade?" Excellent question, and to that I respond, "Well, a lot actually."

Unless you've been sleeping for the last 100 years, it comes as no surprise that we no longer live in a world where we rely solely on the created Earth's provisions. "Artificial" and "synthetic" have become more normal and comfortable to us than "natural" and "organic."

We have slowly been conditioned to not only eat, drink and wear lab grown garbage, but to actually pay top dollar for it. This fact was telling to me, and when I realized what was going on, I couldn't help but see that the Beast's nasty tentacles were everywhere.

Pharmaceuticals, grocery stores, hair products, clothes lines; nothing is real. Everything is fabricated.

And what's even crazier is, though we're sick as dogs, and on every medication known to man because of this, we keep coming back for more. Why? Well, because everyone else does.

But there's good news. You don't have to.

Locust & Honey got its name from the prophet John, who ate nothing but locusts and honey in the wilderness while he awaited his appointed time to pave the way for the Light of the World, as described in Mark 1:6. He relied on Yahweh's provisions by means of the earth, and was wholly sustained by it.

Though not the pinnacle of the story, I believe this is a lesson to us; that we have everything we need. Yahweh sustains us through His creation, despite what the fake scientists tell you. I built Locust & Honey on a principle, that if you can't find it naturally on earth, you can't find it in my products either.

That is my mission, to bring men premium grooming products that give them both health and style, abundantly. It's time we get back to the basics, and say "no" to synthetic garbage.

Ultimately, YOU choose what to eat, what to drink, what to wear. You don't have to be a lab rat to be experimented on. You don't have to be a part of the system. There are better, healthier alternatives to everything, and I desire for Locust & Honey to be one of those small alternatives for you. Obviously an organic pomade for men won't change the world, but every mansion begins with a single brick.

"And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;" Mark 1:6
